unemployed-nigerian-youths-job-creation

WHEN there was oil boom and a somewhat stable economy, the issue of unemployment was a very big problem. Now that Nigeria is experiencing economic crisis, one wonders what the hope of the teeming unemployed Nigerian youths would be. Nigeria’s economy has been hurting on account of the drop in oil prices at the international oil market. All oil producing countries around the globe are feeling the impact of the historic fall in the price of crude oil

Nigeria is not insulated from this problem, the consequences of the oil bust are already been felt by the people and all sector of the country’s economy. Past leaders of government are to be blamed, they failed to repair our refineries, diversify the economy and revive the manufacturing sector—all because of their personal gains thereby putting the country and the Nigerian people at the mercy of an import dependent economy that blows nobody any good. The immediate past administration painted a good picture about the economy when in actual fact the economy was undergoing recession and the country’s reserve is bleeding billions. It only took the emergence of the present administration to discover the truth about the state of the Nigerian economy but some people still fail to admit that Nigeria’s economy is currently in distress. Presently, most states of the federation owe a backlog of salary, the reason President Buhari announced a bailout package for the states and is converting their loans into bonds. This is expected to help cushion the effect of the drop in federal allocation to the states as a result of the slump in oil prices. This should be a great source of concern to every Nigerian leader, business owners, investors and the Nigerian people. Private sector companies are also finding it difficult to pay their workers’ salaries as at when due because of the current state of the economy but unfortunately most private sector companies are not raising the alarm. They are all giving the impression that all is well with them and their businesses. In the face of this financial and economic crisis is a problem that the present administration and most state governors have to urgently address—and that is the problem of the teeming unemployed Nigerian youths. The rate of unemployment has drastically increased. Governor Nasir Ahdmad Elrufai led State Government in Kaduna State has Kick started Industrial Entrepreneurial Revolution with the commencement of the initial training of 5000 successful applicants drown from the 23 local governments. The pragramme tagged KAD- STEP is in collaboration with Bank of Industry, (BOI) and Kaduna Business School which are providing the start- up Loan and faculty respectively for the young entrepreneurs. According to them, the Entrepreneurs would be trained on how to actualize their business proposals into reality. “The bank of industry has always been there but people have not been really equipped to access it and that is what the program is all about. The success will be determined by the number of people you are able to employ., All the states in the federation should borrow leaf from Kaduna state, and map out a youth empowerment program that will engage the youths and help reduce unemployment. It is now evident that the bank of industry is always there to assist in this regard. All they need is good proposal and convincing evidence that the interested state governments are willing to judiciously utilise the fund. Federal government should also come out with better strategies and Entrepreneurship programs that will capture the youths, because youths are the future of this nation, if we leave our youths to be wandering about without anything doing to better their lives, it pose great danger to Government, individuals and Economy; because they will turn to terrors, even criminals. Therefore, governments at all levels should make our youth employment their first priority.

Chelsea news LIVE updates: Morata to miss Man Utd, Conte quit latest, Morata like Drogba.

Morata like Drogba claim

5:45: Shaun Wright-Phillips believes Alvaro Morata can go on to have a similar career to Didier Drogba at Chelsea.
Drogue became a club legend during his time at Stamford Bridge, including scoring the winning penalty to give the Blues their first Champions League title in 2012.
While Morata will have someway to go before emulating Drogba’s career at Chelsea, Wright-Phillips believes the Spain international is on the right track.
“I wouldn’t say that Morata is in Didier’s space now but if he keeps scoring and running in behind and creating chances for others then he’s heading in that direction because he does the same things that Didier did,” Wright-Phillips told 888sport.
“He runs into channels, he creates chances, and he finishes.”

Morata to miss games

21:35: A bit more on Alvaro Morata’s injury.
If he is to be out for the full eight weeks of his Grade II hamstring tear, he will mix six big games for Chelsea.
The Blues are set to play Everton, Manchester United and Liverpool before the end of November.
And Morata would also be out of three Champions League games - home and away against Roma and the trip to Qarabag.

Ancelotti latest

19:46: Carlo Ancelotti is not interested in managing another club this season.
Chelsea have all been linked to the Italian after he was sacked by Bayern Munich.
Current Blues boss Antonio Conte is keen to return to Italy, while West Ham and Everton may also be seeking new managers in the coming weeks.
But the former Chelsea boss says he is taking a break.
“I will rest for the next 10 months, so no other teams,” Ancelotti said, before being asked about reported unrest among the Bayern squad leading to his sacking.
“It’s best to stay quiet on that.”

Morata out for two months

17:56: Alvaro Morata faces four to eight weeks out with a hamstring tear.
The Spanish FA have confirmed the Chelsea striker has suffered a Grade II muscle injury.
That could keep Morata out for up to two months - although Chelsea will hope he returns sooner.
Morata is out of the Spain squad to face Albania and Israel

Title still on - Wilkins

17.10: Chelsea are still in with a shout of winning back-to-back Premier League titles despite their 1-0 loss to Manchester City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, says Ray Wilkins.
Wilkins says Chelsea’s away form last term shows they can turn it around under their Italian boss Antonio Conte.
“We’ve got to play the rest of them again, all away from home,” he said on talkSPORT.
“You know what Chelsea did to Man City last year away from home, they played a fantastic game against them.
“Therefore they’ve got to be in with a chance (of the title).”

Morata better than Lukaku - Moreno

16.00: Chelsea star Alvaro Morata is a better striker than Manchester United’s Romelu Lukaku, says pundit Alejandro Moreno.
“When people get upset about this, we’re not saying Lukaku’s not going to score goals for Manchester United,” Moreno said on ESPN FC.
“We’re not saying that he is not going to be a very good player for Manchester United.
“But what we are saying is that Alvaro Morata, on what we have seen, and potentially what we could see, is a more-complete player than Romelu Lukaku.”

Kane would shine at rival - Pearce

13.00: Tottenham star Harry Kane would dramatically improve Chelsea, Manchester United or Manchester City, according to Stuart Pearce.
Pearce thinks if Kane can continue in his vein of form, Tottenham will receive bids for him next summer.
“Someone will put money down for him at some stage, there’s no doubt,” he said on Sky Sports.
“If he ended up going to Manchester United or Manchester City, it strengthens their hand dramatically, or Chelsea even.”

Chelsea’s season starts now: Eden Hazard & Alvaro Morata’s electrifying combo sets up superb win over Atletico Madrid

chelsea did very well in this game

Chelsea inflicted Atletico Madrid with the first defeat at their new stadium with the very last kick of the match, as Michy Batshuayi came off the bench to claim three enormous points in an incredible come-from-behind win in Wednesday night’s thrilling Champions League match. No English side had previously won away on Atletico turf, but Chelsea changed that with an incredible display that laid down their credentials for winning the entire tournament. Although it was two strikers who got the goals, and the acclaim, there was one player who really shone,,,,,,,

CHELEAS WAS SO EXCITED FOR THE WINING OF THAT GAME
